Earn In-Person & Virtual Contact Hours!

Each year we are approved by licensing boards and accrediting bodies that represent a wide variety of mental health professions. In many instances, these approvals are transferrable to those who may be licensed in other states! If your profession or state is not identified below we encourage you to contact your licensing board as it is likely they will accept all or most of the hours for this conference!

NATIONAL BOARD FOR CERTIFIED COUNSELORS (NBCC)

The 2025 Lowcountry Mental Health Conference has been approved by NBCC for NBCC credit. Sessions approved for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Mental Health HEROES is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. NBCC Approval No. SP-4905.
All sessions EXCEPT July 31, 2025 Thomas Moore “Care of the Soul: A therapeutic Way of Life” at 10:15am have been approved.
You may earn up to 15 NBCC credit hours!
Most states recognize NBCC approval so check your Social Work., LMFT, and LPC licensing boards as this approval will most likely be honored by your state licensing board for many licensed mental health professionals!

25 general contact hours and 2.25 social work specific hours
In-Person Attendance: Approved for the entire in-person activity. Individual attendees are approved for a maximum of 16.00 Contact Hours.
Virtual Attendance: Approved for the entire virtual activity. Individual attendees are approved for a maximum of 14.00 Contact Hours.

PSYCHOLOGISTS (PhD, PsyD)

All 2025 sessions approved! 27.5 total APA CE credits.

Virtual Attendance: Approved for the entire virtual activity. Individual attendees are approved for a maximum of 14.00 APA CE credits.
Approved by the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Office of Continuing Education – an approved provider for the American Psychological Association(APA).
